On June 22, 2016, Franciszek Uściński (born October 10, 1934), director of the Bolesławiec Cultural Center from 1980 to 1990, died.
Franciszek Uściński initiated the publication of and served as editor-in-chief of the socio-cultural monthly “Głos Bolesławca.” Thanks to his commitment and determination, the State Music School was established in Bolesławiec. He was a musician, poet, writer, cultural organizer and an exceptionally sensitive person.
The funeral ceremony will take place on June 24 at 3:00 p.m. at the Municipal Cemetery in Bolesławiec.
