After breaking into the shed, the perpetrators stole a lawn mower, hedge trimmers, a gas cylinder, a sprayer and various gardening tools. The owner estimated her losses at PLN 1,500.
As a result of operational activities, police officers from the Criminal Department of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained two men—both aged 26—suspected of committing the offense. The officers searched the premises occupied by the 26-year-olds and recovered the stolen property.
The men from Bolesławiec have previously had run-ins with the law. They now face up to 10 years in prison.
