Two residents of Jelenia Góra, aged 18 and 19, suspected of property-related crimes, were apprehended by officers from the Criminal Division of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra.
The first incident occurred in mid-June at one of the stores in Jelenia Góra. During the night, the detainees broke into a cabinet containing mobile phones and stole one of them. What is more, they returned to the same stand the following day and, taking advantage of the salesperson’s momentary inattention, stole another two mobile phones. The total value of the stolen goods was estimated at nearly PLN 1,600.
The thieves were detained. They face up to 10 years in prison. Police officers recovered the stolen property.
