The incident occurred after 4:00 p.m. on the road out of Bolesławiec toward Zgorzelec, on II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street. The driver of the Audi, a 28-year-old from Bolesławiec, was turning left when he collided with a Suzuki motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction. The motorcycle was ridden by a 35-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. The motorcyclist suffered fractures to both arms. He also sustained injuries to his legs and head. The man is being treated at the hospital in Bolesławiec. The case was classified as a road accident.
The road was blocked for several hours, and a detour was marked via Zabobrze Street.
