For almost a year now, I have been watching rats roam around our pond. Now it is clear why the natural growth of the ducks’ population has been practically zero for the past few years, and the swans are also suffering losses because of the rats. These floating nesting boxes are no obstacle at all for the rats.
– The issue of rats in the municipal pond area is known to MZGM – said “ii” Grażyna Strzyżewska, deputy head of the Municipal Housing Management Authority, which takes care of, among other things, the swan family. – Deratization was carried out around the pond last week by a company from Ruszów. PWiK was also commissioned to carry out deratization of the manholes around the pond.
Bolesławiec Water and Sewerage Company will deratize the manholes next week.
