Police officers from Karpacz detained a 60-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County suspected of supplying drugs, possessing significant quantities of them and growing cannabis.
Officers received information that the owner of one of the agritourism farms in Jelenia Góra County most likely possessed drugs and might be dealing in them.
The officers’ suspicions were confirmed—they seized 39 cannabis plants at various stages of growth. The plantation was located in a specially prepared room equipped with devices controlling heating, lighting and ventilation. The police also found ready-dried marijuana, which was drying on a furnace in the boiler room—nearly 700 portions of the drug.
The 60-year-old was detained in police custody. He could face up to 10 years in prison.
