The Lower Silesian Voivodeship Firefighters’ Beach Volleyball Championships are under way. They are organized by the provincial commander of the State Fire Service in Wrocław, with the participation of the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, Bolesławiec County, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec and the Bolesławiec Volleyball Association.
“Today, teams representing individual county and municipal headquarters met; there is also a team representing the Voivodeship Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wrocław,” says junior brigadier Arkadiusz Stadnik of the Voivodeship Headquarters of the State Fire Service.
The competition was extremely intense. Among the athletes taking part in the championships were the current Polish firefighters’ beach volleyball champions, Adrian Zdebel and Piotr Borkowski, as well as players from BTS Elektros.
