On 23–24 May, the Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Wrocław, with the cooperation of the Bolesławiec District Headquarters of the State Fire Service, Bolesławiec County, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec and the Bolesławiec Volleyball Association, is organizing the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Firefighters’ Beach Volleyball Championship at the Water Sports Centre in Bolesławiec (Spacerowa Street).

Sixteen pairs entered by municipal and district commands and the Wrocław Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service will compete for the voivodeship championship title.

The official opening of the competition will take place at 10:00. Matches played simultaneously on two courts will begin at 11:00. Sixteen qualifying matches are scheduled for Monday, while Tuesday will feature the final matches—14 games—from 9:00. The competition is scheduled to end at 15:30.

The participants will include the current Polish firefighters’ beach volleyball champions, as well as many players from the champion Lower Silesian voivodeship team (the title was won at the 33rd Polish Championship held in Suwałki in April).

The championship has been placed under the honorary patronage of Bolesławiec County Governor Dariusz Kwaśniewski.
