Meeting programme

From 11:00 to 12:00, Kamila Kamińska and Agnieszka Wieszaczewska from the University of Wrocław will talk about the project, as well as the idea of “reading cities” as part of the European Capital of Culture 2016 celebrations.
From 12:00 to 14:00, the initiative entitled “Bolesławiec, I remember that…”. Your stories will help the project organisers listen to our city. We therefore warmly invite everyone who would like to share their memories of our city. It will be a great pleasure for us to hear your stories.

The “Reading the City” project brings together academia and animation. As part of the project, a research team is learning about the history and character of the place and analysing the city. The results of this work will be presented during a seminar in Bolesławiec and at an international conference of the UNECC network (Network of European Capitals of Culture Universities). In the summer, an artistic activity adapted to the city’s text and the residents’ expectations will take place in Bolesławiec.
