The Easter compositions were judged by a number of criteria, including aesthetics, design, naturalness and the use of regional elements. According to the competition committee, the standard of the entries was higher than last year. Among the traditional holiday motifs, chicks were by far the most popular, but there were also bunnies, lambs and decorated eggs. Krystyna Ilczyna from Bolesławice took first place unanimously with a beautiful composition made of eggshells among flowers. Two women shared second place: Elżbieta Pachołek from Rakowice and Elżbieta Lisiewicz from Otok. Four people took third place: Renata Boruckia from Kraśnik Górny, Wiesława Kruk, Rozalia Gajewska and Aneta Górka from Golnice.
