We reported on the case in February this year. Let us recall what “Gazeta Wrocławska” reported:
A small mongrel became someone’s shooting target. The dog was found under the fence of one of the properties. It lay there for two days before someone took pity on it and notified the municipal police in Nowogrodziec. They notified the “Kwisa” Association of Municipalities Shelter in Przylasek.
It was established that the dog had been shot six times. What is more, the degenerate must have shot the animal from close range (the shot was lodged deep in its body). The animal did not survive, but a reward was offered for catching the perpetrator.
At the end of April, officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec arrested a man suspected of abusing a dog. He turned out to be a 26-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec Municipality.
The degenerate admitted to the alleged offense. He has already been charged with abusing an animal. He faces up to two years in prison.
