As it turned out, the detained men, aged 27 and 24, had committed a number of similar thefts. They had even been punished for such offenses before. Officers established that from January to April this year, the suspects committed several dozen property-related crimes in Jelenia Góra. They mainly stole surveillance cameras, bicycles and power tools. The victims’ total losses amounted to approximately PLN 30,000.
The 27- and 24-year-old men now face up to five years in prison.
