Nine Municipal Guard officers took part in a qualified first aid course organized by Divemed from Jelenia Góra. After several dozen hours of theoretical and practical classes, they faced the examination board.
The main purpose of courses of this type is to prepare rescuers from units cooperating with the State Medical Rescue System to perform rescue tasks during operations and, in particular, to provide qualified first aid at the scene to people experiencing a sudden health emergency until they are handed over to healthcare facility personnel.
All the officers passed the theoretical and practical examination and obtained the title of rescuer, confirming the knowledge and skills acquired that are necessary to assist injured people experiencing a sudden health emergency. After equipping their patrol cars with basic medical equipment, the rescue officers will be able to provide assistance to city residents at a higher level than before.
