On 11 April, operational officers from Pieńsk conducted activities targeting individuals suspected of property-related crimes. During the operation, they identified and detained a suspect accused of attempting to steal windows from the grounds of the former fire station in Bielawa Dolna.
The suspect turned out to be a 39-year-old resident of Zgorzelec. The perpetrator was allegedly attempting to steal windows with a total value of over PLN 10,000.
The 39-year-old now faces up to five years in prison.
