A return tournament between teams from Gromadka Municipality and Chojnów Rural Municipality was held in the sports hall in Gromadka. Three teams representing Chojnów (Dobroszów, Goliszów and Stary Łom) and six host teams (Różyniec, Modła, Krzyżowa and three teams representing Gromadka) took part in the competition.
In the first phase, the matches were played in two groups on adjacent courts. The preliminary group stage of the tournament determined the finalists and the teams that would play for third place, which was rewarded with a cup. In the match for third place, the volleyball players from Dobroszów proved a class better than their opponents, easily defeating Gromadka’s third team.
The representatives of Stary Łom and Gromadka’s first team met in the final. The final ended with an easy, two-set victory for the volleyball players from Stary Łom. Thus, the teams from Gromadka missed the opportunity to avenge the defeat they had suffered two weeks earlier.
The sponsor of the tournament prizes—three impressive cups—was Barbara Jasińska, Head of Chojnów Municipality. The very amiable Head of Municipality was quite pleased to present two of the three top prizes to teams representing her home municipality. The event was organized by Dariusz Pawliszczy, Head of Gromadka Municipality.
