The project concerns the reconstruction of a 678-metre-long municipal road. The construction work will include a 4–5-metre-wide carriageway, widening at the entrances to county roads, and the construction of an approximately 200-metre-long, 2-metre-wide pavement connecting Sienkiewicza Street with Asnyka Street.

The road currently has a partly unpaved surface and, in part, a damaged bituminous surface. The carriageway is planned to be widened from 3 metres to 4 and 5 metres, with the road surface replaced, accompanying infrastructure constructed, and a pavement built. As part of the reconstruction, an 8-cm mineral-bituminous surface will be laid along the entire length of the road, consisting of a 4-cm binder course and a 4-cm wearing course. Two-sided crushed-stone shoulders made of crushed aggregate will be constructed along the modernised road, along with sections of drainage channels made of paving blocks.

A 2-metre-wide pavement with a surface made of 8-cm concrete paving blocks will be constructed along part of the road. It will be laid on a cement-sand bedding and bordered with a concrete kerb.

An application for funding from the Rural Development Programme for 2014–2020, under the “Construction or modernisation of local roads” measure, has been submitted to the Marshal’s Office. The requested amount is PLN 443,067.00.

The project aims to improve safety, increase traffic flow, and create an efficient transport connection with county roads.
