Before 7:00 a.m., police received a report that a parked car with its engine running was standing on Kubika Street. There were two men in the car. An ambulance was also called to the scene. Unfortunately, one of the men, a 25-year-old resident of Żagań, was already dead.
The other man, a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, was unconscious and was taken to hospital. At around 10:30 a.m., the 25-year-old’s body was taken away by a funeral home. Police are establishing the details of the incident. Carbon monoxide poisoning may have caused the tragedy.

The 19-year-old is a student at II Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Bolesławiec.
