On 24 March, the BKS Bolesławiec senior team will begin its spring fixtures in the Lower Silesian IV league. There have been several changes to the squad. Grzegorz Nowak and Jacek Jasiński have left the team. Both will play for Pogoń Oleśnica. Radosław Pietkiewicz will also no longer be seen in Bolesławiec, as he will play in Germany. Łukasz Akacki has also left the team (transferring to Dąb Siedliska), as has Piotr Haluch (transferring to Chrobry Nowogrodziec).

Strengthening the team

The club is in the process of arranging the arrival of new players. The BKS squad is to be strengthened by Marcin Potyszka (from fifth-tier Chrobry Nowogrodziec), Dariusz Kędzierski (from third-tier Łagrom Kania Gostyń), Robert Banaszek (from fifth-tier Olimpia Warszawa) and Damian Hebda (from second-tier Lechia Gdańsk). Marcin Ciliński will continue to coach the BKS senior team.

Unsuccessful friendly matches

The Bolesławiec team played several friendlies. Our players lost 1–2 to Lechia Zielona Góra, 0–2 to Chrobry Głogów and 1–5 to Czarni Lwówek. BKS won its friendly against GKS Raciborowice 6–1. It is worth noting that BKS played these friendly matches with a weakened squad, without the new signings. Only in the regular season will it become clear what the team is capable of. On Saturday, BKS will play its final friendly in Głogów against the local Chrobry, which will also be a rematch for the earlier 0–2 defeat. On 24 March at 3:00 p.m., BKS will play its first home match. GKS Kobierzyce will be our team’s opponent.

New president

Starting with the spring round, BKS Bolesławiec has a new president. Edwarda Kaputa has been replaced by Zbigniew Laska. Jacek Szymczak is the vice-president, while Edward Spraski is the second vice-president. The senior section is managed by Bogdan Mojsiejczuk, who replaced Piotr Bieńkowski in the position.
