The competition was held in the swimming pool of the Nowa Bochnia Conference and Hotel Center. On the first day of competition, qualifiers for the championship finals were held, so that the final battle for the medals could take place the following day.

On the final day, competitors took part in individual events such as the men’s and women’s freestyle, the men’s and women’s breaststroke, and the men’s backstroke and butterfly events—all over a distance of 50 m. In the 100 m events, competitors raced in men’s freestyle and breaststroke. There were also relay events: men’s medley and freestyle relays over 4x50 m, as well as mixed freestyle relays over the same distance.

In the individual classification, the undefeated competitors in their categories were: private Natalia Szczęsnowicz, Second Lieutenant Krzysztof Wróbel and Private Marcin Horbacz of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade. The men’s 4x50m medley and 4x50m freestyle relays also narrowly missed out on victory, finishing second in both cases.

The team classification was won by the 17th Greater Poland Mechanized Brigade named after Lieutenant General Józef Dowbor-Muśnicki from Międzyrzecz. The 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade named after Lieutenant General Stanisław Maczek from Świętoszów took second place. The 21st Podhale Rifle Brigade named after Brigadier General Mieczysław Boruta-Spiechowicz from Rzeszów won bronze.

The organizer of the General Command of the Armed Forces Branches Championship for the 1st–11th Armored Cavalry Division Command in swimming—the 6th Airborne Brigade named after Brigadier General Stanisław Franciszek Sosabowski—not only ensured the proper conduct and organization of the event, but also cared for the competitors’ morale. During a break between starts, a trip to the Bochnia Salt Mine was organized, and at the closing ceremony, a soldier of the 21BSP from Rzeszów, Private Mateusz Lebek, performed a short dance program.
