The girls performed especially well: Maja Nikołajuk won two bronze medals in her category, one in freestyle and the other in backstroke.
Wiktoria Bleichert also swam brilliantly, returning from the competition with silver in the 50-metre backstroke, as did Julita Jośko, who won bronze medals in backstroke and freestyle.
