Wiesław Saniewski (famous for “Nadzór”, “Obcy musi fruwać” and the documentary about Marek Hłasko, “Wracając do Marka”) has this time made a fact-based legal drama. The film is based on the true story of Jerzy Kuter (played by Artur Żmijewski), who—despite the lack of evidence—was accused of murdering his beloved, a television journalist who was eight months pregnant, and sentenced to 25 years in prison. Olech plays Łukasz, a young law graduate who wants to find out whether Kuter was really guilty.

The film will be screened from 9 to 18 March. All evening screenings begin at 8:15 p.m. On 10 March, a meeting with the film’s director and actors—Robert Olech and Bożena Stachura, who plays a judge in “Bezmiar sprawiedliwości”—will be held after the screening. Importantly, residents of Bolesławiec will have the opportunity to see the film at the same time as residents of Poland’s largest cities. Tickets cost 12 and 14 zł.
