As the members themselves say:
The difference in temperament and the diverse musical tastes of the band members meant that the group’s music is not exclusively blues or rock. It is a mixture, the result of our musical preferences, tastes and fascinations.
From the very first sounds, you can hear a fascination with 1970s rock, enhanced by blues notes and the southern rock style. From the outset, the band did not adhere rigidly to any particular framework. The same principle applied to the individual members of the group, who often changed, making The Mohers a jam band. This is undoubtedly an advantage, as each member of the band always brought something new of their own.
The band’s strong point has always been its rhythm section and guitar sound, which over these several years of playing has become the group’s trademark in Lower Silesia. The band has played dozens of smaller and larger concerts. It has performed with guest appearances by many well-known musicians (Sławek Sobieski, Jurek Styczyński, Darek Kozakiewicz, Jacek Krzaklewski, Krzysztof Wałecki). It has won awards at the Blues nad Bobrem and Blues nad Odrą festivals.
The band performs its own compositions, but it also does not shy away from covers, which add to every concert. Their music reflects the influence of such bands and musicians as Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, Dżem, Cree, Breakout, Obstawa Prezydenta, Eric Clapton, Derek Truck, Tadeusz Nalepa and many others. At concerts, the band also performs songs by these artists.
In 2015, the band’s leader, Rafał Duszyński, died after a long and serious illness. However, in accordance with his wishes, the band decided to continue its activities. Kamil Kulczycki, the group’s former vocalist, also left the band. The current core of the group consists of Kuba Chomiak, together with the second guitarist and frontman Michał Stępień. Next year, The Mohers will celebrate their 10th anniversary.
At “Muza”, they will perform as follows: Michał Stępień – vocals, guitar; Kuba Chomiak – guitar; Wiesław Markowsi – bass and Wojtek Obajda – drums.
Antałek was founded by Adrian Bielski and Jakub Regulski. They play broadly understood forms of rock, hard rock and blues. They draw inspiration from various musical genres, which is why their work also contains influences from jazz, indie rock and even metal. Despite their young age, the band members have considerable musical experience. Each of them has played in various musical formations. Antałek performs in pubs, at presentations by schools and music clubs, reviews, competitions, festivals and schools.
The band strives to make the most of its skills, potential and musical vision in order to develop its passion. Line-up: Adrian Bielski – vocals/harmonica/lyricist; Oskar Balul – guitar; Brian Wojcieszak – bass guitar; Kuba Regulski – drums.
