Biljana Srbljanović (37) is regarded as a revelation of contemporary drama. Her plays have been published and staged in more than 50 countries. She was the first foreign artist to receive the prestigious Ernst Toller Award. She is the author of, among other works, The Belgrade Trilogy, Family Situations and Fall. She is politically engaged. She survived the bombing of Belgrade. She protested against the regime of Slobodan Milošević. Nationalists have called her a traitor to the nation. She often appears in the Serbian media as a political commentator.

In the play Supermarket, compared to a soap opera, Srbljanović portrays a world devoid of values and authority. A world in which everything is repeated, in which only labels exist. A world as a media supermarket, dominated by mediocrity, shoddiness and opportunism, with no room for difference. The play is set in a school. The protagonists are children. But these children have nothing of a child's sensitivity. As the actors of Teatr Odnaleziony assure us, the Serbian playwright's work is universal, and an analogy to Poland can also be found in it. The performance is directed by Łukasz Duda, who is also the author of the adaptation and set design. Katarzyna Kowalska, Szymon Duda, Katarzyna Religa, Magdalena Gruszka and Katarzyna Kasperowicz will appear on stage. The musical accompaniment will be provided by the band Koda. Admission costs PLN 5.
