The County Championships of Lower-Secondary Schools in Table Tennis are now behind us. In the girls’ category, the best were Marta Nebesny, Dominika Budrewicz and Sylwia Maczel, coached by Piotr Bajer. The athletes from the school in Nowogrodziec took second place, while the table-tennis players from Iwiny came third.
In the boys’ category, the representatives of Gimnazjum Zakonu Pijarów won. The team consisted of: Jan Goleński and Dominik Pieniądz. The team’s coach is Przemysław Kujawa. The table-tennis players from Świętoszów took second place. The competitors from Nowogrodziec finished third.
Both championship-winning teams qualified for the zonal competitions. The event was organized by Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kształcenia Kadr in Bolesławiec.
