That is why one of the plans of Nasze Zoo Görlitz-Zgorzelec for 2016 is to take steps aimed at improving the living conditions of native animals. Together with the Association for Landscape Conservation Upper Lusatia, Nasze Zoo plans to rebuild a disused transformer station where a stork, owl, falcon, bat, hedgehog and insects will be able to live.
These plans cannot be carried out without financial resources, however. “Any help with the project is welcome, both financial support and construction materials or labour provided by regional companies,” say employees of Nasze Zoo.
They add: “Animal lovers who would like to help are asked to contact Nasze Zoo by phone: +48 511 265 954, +49 358 140 74 00; email: nasze-zoo@tierpark-goerlitz.de.”
