Groups of participants gathered for workshops at the library, held under the shared title “I’ll Make It Myself – Winter Holidays with Handicrafts.” Participants could, for example, make a magical glass globe themselves, allowing them to enjoy the sight of swirling snowflakes not only in winter. In the magic globe, the young wizards most eagerly placed a bunny they had made by hand.
The classes held at the library were also a wonderful opportunity to make an interesting gift for a loved one: a reminder of important family celebrations or an original board game of one’s own.
Meanwhile, at meetings held at MBP Branch No. 1, listeners of excerpts from Kazimierz Szymeczka’s book “And That’s History ...” could experience a medieval atmosphere. The period was introduced through themed quizzes, riddles, puzzles and stories about the first students.
