Everyone is warmly invited to the auditions—the admission is free. Bands are also invited to enter the competition, whose main prize is PLN 10,000.
For the eleventh time, Radio Wrocław is organizing a competition aimed at promoting young, amateur bands from all across Lower Silesia. More than 100 groups enter each edition; in total, nearly 900 acts have appeared on Radio Wrocław.
Each band can submit its own demo recordings, on the basis of which participants qualify for regional auditions. During the castings, groups compete for the opportunity to appear in the second, on-air stage, in which two bands are presented every day, and Listeners choose the winner of each duel.
After 12 weeks of on-air competition, the four best bands meet at the final concert, where the most important live duel takes place. The winning band is chosen by the radio’s Listeners, who vote for the finalist during the concert using special voting tickets. The main prize in the Radio Wrocław Musical Battle competition is PLN 10,000.

The Regional Eliminations of Radio Wrocław’s Musical Battle are being organized in Bolesławiec in cooperation with the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre, which plans to organize a concert by the winners of Radio Wrocław’s Musical Battle in Bolesławiec this July.
