As we read on Facebook:

In tribute to the Cursed Soldiers, who did not lay down their arms after the end of World War II, sacrificing their lives for the idea of a great and free Poland and the struggle against the Soviet occupier, a March in Memory of the Cursed Soldiers will pass through the streets of Bolesławiec on February 28, the Sunday preceding March 1.

Commemorative events program:

  • 6:00 p.m. – Holy Mass for the Unbroken Soldiers, at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1B Zamkowy Square
  • After the service, a march to the Fighting Poland monument (Kubika Street, defensive walls)
  • Laying of flowers, a commemorative speech and singing of the national anthem.
