This year, the meeting had a special character. For several days, the new commander of the Lower Silesian State Fire Service has been brig. gen. Adam Konieczny, who previously, as commander of the Legnica municipal State Fire Service, helped build the achievements of Lower Silesian firefighters.
Seven Lower Silesian firefighters were honored for their service results (90 were honored throughout Poland). As the Minister of the Interior and Administration wrote, the honored firefighters “have distinguished achievements in service and, in particular, have demonstrated bravery and performed acts showing above-average courage.”
Congratulations and best wishes from Deputy Chief Commander brig. gen. Marek Jasiński, Lower Silesian Voivode Paweł Hreniak, and Provincial Commander brig. gen. Adam Konieczny were received by: sec.
