Two ambulances, two fire-service units and the police are at the scene. The bypass is blocked in both directions. One car ended up in a ditch, while the other is on the roadside (both have Bolesławiec registration plates).

Three people were travelling in one of the cars and two in the other. No one, including a small boy who was travelling in one of the cars, suffered any serious injuries.

Update

As we read on the website of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service:

When the units arrived at the scene, they found that two passenger cars had collided. One of them had gone off the road into a deep ditch, while the other was on the roadside. Traffic on the road was halted. Firefighters secured the scene, disconnected the vehicles’ batteries and used a hydraulic truck crane (HDS) to pull the damaged car out of the ditch. Medical rescue teams provided assistance to the injured.

The operation, involving units from the PSP Rescue and Firefighting Unit in Bolesławiec, lasted almost three hours.
