Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec arrested a 33-year-old man suspected of committing a theft at a drugstore during the last week of January. In the course of their investigation, police determined that the arrested man had also committed a number of other thefts that took place in January of this year in Bolesławiec County.
The suspect stole a lamp, knives, cosmetics and fuel. He will also be held accountable for driving without a licence. The total losses caused by the 33-year-old's criminal activities were estimated at more than PLN 1,700.
The arrested man now faces up to five years in prison.
