At first, the 9- and 11-year-old girls did not want to tell the officers what they were doing in the car park. They later admitted that they had been asking people for money.
Both girls live in Jelenia Góra and attend local primary schools. The 11-year-old stated that her older brother forced her to beg and that she did so outside Żabka and Tesco.
The girls were taken to Police Station I. The police are handling further proceedings in this case.
