- “In the Ceramic Pattern Room” – art classes for preschoolers and primary school pupils. Participants will learn about ways of decorating ceramic vessels using examples of historic and contemporary Bolesławiec forms. They can design their own pattern and apply it—with stamps or a brush—to a paper vessel, creating a unique sample piece. Children can take their finished work home and use it, for example, as a container for writing utensils.

- “At the Masked Ball” – art classes traditionally organised during carnival, intended for children and young people. The classes stimulate the imagination and help develop creative thinking skills.

11 February 2016 (Thursday), 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- “A Postcard for Those in Love” – art workshops for children and young people inspired by Valentine’s Day, which falls on 14 February. During the classes, participants can make a card with a love motif by hand, while younger children can decorate a template specially prepared for the occasion with crayons. Participants will be able to give the completed postcard as a Valentine. Additionally, after purchasing a postage stamp at the museum ticket office, the card can be sent through the Museum to a loved one. The motifs appearing on the postcards presented in the exhibition “Solitaire Made Entirely of Hearts – Postcards from the Collection of Prof. Paweł Banaś, PhD” may inspire workshop participants; the exhibition has been made available free of charge to children and young people during the winter holidays.
The classes will be held provided that a group of at least 5 people attends. Sign-ups can be made in person at the Museum of Ceramics at 14 Kutuzowa Street, by telephone at 75 644 22 00, or by email at poczta@muzeum.boleslawiec.net. Children should be accompanied by an adult during the workshops.
The workshops are free of charge. You are warmly invited!
