The completed roadway is 410 m long. Along Rzemieślnicza Street, an asphalt-concrete cycle path with an area of 704.42 m2 was built. The pavements are made of concrete paving blocks. Their area is 1,436.00 m2. As part of the work, a street-lighting cable line was installed, and sanitary and stormwater house connections and water connections were constructed, among other works. The contractor was ABM Zgorzelec. The cost was PLN 812,872. The funds came from the city budget.
“Rzemieślnicza Street is the first stage of road construction on this estate. The next will be Herberta Street,” says Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman. The road will be lit. Speed bumps will be installed—this will be done in the first half of this year.
By the end of April, horizontal road markings are also scheduled to be painted, and 14 poles with road-lighting fixtures installed. The lighting will be switched on after the road at Herberta Street has been completed. In the first half of the year, a section of Rzemieślnicza Street leading to the intersection of Wojska Polskiego Avenue and Żeromskiego Street will also be renovated. A new wearing course will be laid on this section.
