The Bolesławiec branch of WOPR is organizing a water rescue course. The organizational meeting will be held on February 6 (Saturday) at 6:30 p.m., at the II Private Middle School on Bankowa Street. The swimming portion of the course will take place at the Bolesławiec Aquatic Park – Orka.

The water rescue course is conducted in accordance with the applicable regulations concerning the safety of swimmers. After completing the training, participants obtain qualifications to work as water rescuers at all bodies of water in Poland.

“To have the full right to work, one must also complete a KPP course (Qualified First Aid) and hold a certificate useful in rescue work. I believe this is an excellent alternative for good swimmers who can relatively quickly and inexpensively acquire a full professional qualification,” says Maciej Marcinkiewicz – a rescue instructor with Bolesławiec WOPR. We invite everyone interested to take part in the course.
