On 20 January, officers from the Bogatynia police station stopped a passenger car for inspection. The driver turned out to be a 29-year-old resident of Bogatynia. The driver's behaviour aroused the police officers' suspicions regarding his sobriety. A test conducted using a drug tester confirmed the officers' suspicions. Moreover, during a search of the man, police officers found several portions of methamphetamine on him.
The resident of Bogatynia was taken into police custody. He may face up to 3 years in prison.
