Police officers from the Criminal Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra detained a 28-year-old man suspected of possessing significant quantities of narcotic substances.
While carrying out activities in another case, officers learned that the 28-year-old might possess drugs. In the refrigerator at his apartment, officers found nearly 20 grams of ecstasy, while in the attic, in a shopping bag, they found marijuana from which nearly 500 retail doses could be obtained.
Police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail and investigating the source of the seized drugs.
The man was taken into police custody. He could face up to 10 years in prison. The 28-year-old has already been placed under police supervision, banned from leaving the country, and ordered to pay PLN 5,000 in bail.
