The annual competition is organized by the Legnica Public Library and the Copper Museum. The criteria used by the jury were editorial care, meaning aesthetics and graphic design; editorial quality; the appeal of the subject; educational and artistic value; originality; the result of an individual’s or team’s work; and the impact on the community of the city, region and country.

The official announcement of the verdict, presentation of the Honorary Title “Legnica Book of the Year 2015” and award presentation—the statuette made at the Studio Borowski artistic glass workshop—will take place during the Carnival Concert for Two Sopranos at the Copper Museum on 24 January 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
