The duty officer at the Police Station in Bogatynia received a report of a burglary at a detached house. As the police established, the perpetrators broke into the house and stole a laptop, a camera and jewellery worth a total of more than PLN 11,000.
After just a few hours, operational officers identified the suspects, who turned out to be two residents of Bogatynia, aged 24 and 28.
The police began searching for the suspects. They found them at one of the hotels. During a search of the hotel room, they found a backpack containing the stolen items.
The 24- and 28-year-old men now face up to 10 years in prison.
