Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, as a result of operational activities, detained a 32-year-old man suspected of committing two crimes.
During a search of the passenger car belonging to the 32-year-old, officers found, among other things, a grill, a smoker, clothes dryers and tools used to commit crimes. It turned out that the secured items came from a theft that took place on January 5 this year at one of the stores in Bolesławiec. The store owner valued the stolen items at nearly PLN 3,000.
In addition, police established that the man was also suspected of stealing courier parcels, which occurred on December 30, 2015.
The recovered property will be handed over to its owner. The detainee confessed to the crime. The man had previously been convicted of similar offenses. He now faces up to 5 years in prison.
