Around 800 people attended the Christmas wafer meeting: people with disabilities, their families, friends and volunteers. Representatives of the government and local authorities, members of Parliament, and representatives of the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities were also invited to participate in the Mass and ceremony. The meeting took place in the gymnasium of the General Secondary School No. 1 in Bolesławiec.

After the Mass, celebrated by the Bishop of Legnica, attendees could listen to several concerts and view exhibitions of artwork by people with disabilities from: the County Complex of Schools and Special Facilities in Bolesławiec, the Community Self-Help Home in Bolesławiec, the Second Community Self-Help Home in Bolesławiec, the Occupational Therapy Workshops in Bolesławiec, and the Social Welfare Centre in Nowogrodziec.

The 7th integration Christmas wafer meeting for people with disabilities from Bolesławiec County was prepared by the Bolesławiec County Office together with secular and church-based non-governmental organisations working for people with disabilities. The following also took part in organising the event: the Bolesławiec East and Bolesławiec West Deaneries, the Nowogrodziec Deanery and parishes in Bolesławiec County, as well as the Friends of Children Society, the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre, the Youth Cultural Centre, the Military Unit and support centres.
