Officers from the Criminal Division of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra detained an 18-year-old man suspected of crimes against property. They established that in August this year, the Jelenia Góra resident stole a bicycle left outside one of the city’s discount grocery stores, and in November 2015, taking advantage of the shop assistant’s inattention, he stole 10 console games, also from a discount store in Jelenia Góra. The victims’ total losses amount to approximately PLN 3,000.
The detainee confessed. He explained that he used the money obtained from selling the stolen items for his everyday needs. He now faces up to five years in prison.
