In the colorful procession through the streets of Bolesławiec, called the Festival of Cultures, Ceramika Artystyczna presented floral costumes symbolizing the latest ceramic decorations, which once again proved unbeatable. Below is a film by Stefańczyk Studio:
The employees began preparing for the parade a month before the Festival of Ceramics by coming up with a theme that would identify with the company while also conveying the atmosphere of the festival. They decided to draw inspiration from the latest floral ceramic decorations. The flowers also referred to the company’s anniversary—the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the plant.
Designers also joined the organization, while Maria Starzyk became responsible for the entire project, including the design, costume arrangements and makeup.
The costumes, decorations and makeup of the parade participants presented floral decorations. Peacock eyes and the peahens symbolizing them could not be missing either. This styling won the previous year, in 2014.
A specially delegated group of employees had to paint each element of the costume in more than 190 copies. The floral motif was used in the makeup of every person taking part in the parade.
The first presentation of several weeks of work by more than 200 people took place during the opening of the themed Ceramic Gardens, which always operate alongside the Festival of Ceramics next to the plant. However, the highlight was the performance later that same day during the Festival of Cultures parade. Even during the procession, the audience’s applause left no doubt who would become the winner.
