It was an exceptional day for big-screen enthusiasts across Poland. All cinemas participating in the campaign reduced ticket prices to PLN 11 for 2D films and PLN 14 for 3D films. At Forum cinema, the greatest popularity was enjoyed by a screening of “Listy do M 2”, shown especially for the occasion. Our screen also featured two animated films for the youngest viewers, “Dobry Dinozaur” and, as part of the Poranek na bis series, “Minionki”, as well as the star-studded American comedy “Kochajmy się od święta”, the Spanish drama “Ma Ma” starring Penelope Cruz, the timeless story of the lust for power, betrayal, passion and madness—“Makbet”—and the Christmas horror film “Krampus. Duch Świąt”.
We encourage residents of Bolesławiec and the surrounding area to make the most frequent possible use of Forum cinema’s offerings. Our viewers can enjoy an attractive programme, two air-conditioned auditoriums seating 49 and 420 people, comfortable armchairs, modern audiovisual equipment and the Filmowa Cafe. Information about the current programme is available at: www.kino.boleslawiec.pl
Cinema Day aims to popularize watching films on the big screen, including Polish productions, establish the habit of going to the cinema, and inspire interesting conversations and reflection, as well as fun and relaxation. The Cinema Day campaign is intended to continue in the coming years. The campaign is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
