Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec arrested a 32-year-old man suspected of four crimes as a result of operational activities. The resident of Mazowieckie Voivodeship broke into cars parked in Bolesławiec twice between 22 November and 13 December this year and stole, among other things, documents, a mobile phone, a travel bag and toys from inside them. In addition, the arrested man is charged with two thefts. Courier parcels and power tools were among his loot.
The total losses caused by the 32-year-old’s criminal activities were estimated at more than PLN 9,000. The man had already been convicted multiple times for crimes against property, committed, among other places, in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
The 32-year-old admitted to the charges and gave a statement. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
