Police officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec police headquarters arrested a 31-year-old man suspected of committing at least two burglaries. The crimes took place in early December in Bolesławiec.
Officers established that the perpetrator broke into two cellars and stole, among other things, power tools. The victims’ total losses were estimated at more than PLN 3,500.
At the time of his arrest, the 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was in a car where police found construction tools and power tools that may have originated from the crime. The suspect was unable to explain how he came into possession of the secured property.
The man had previously been in conflict with the law. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
