Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained two men suspected of stealing a car, attempting to steal two more vehicles and committing two document thefts.
The detainees are residents of Lwówek County, aged 19 and 30. As a result of the actions carried out, police officers have already recovered a passenger car stolen during the night of 5–6 December this year in Bolesławiec.
Furthermore, during a search of the residential premises occupied by the suspects, officers recovered various items originating from crimes, including vehicle documents stolen at the beginning of December this year, as well as car radios.
Additionally, police determined that the detainees were responsible for two more unsuccessful attempts to steal vehicles. The case is developing. Officers are currently clarifying all circumstances related to the detainees’ activities.
The suspects confessed to the acts with which they are charged. They face up to 10 years in prison.
