The 1st National Indoor Youth Football Tournament was held in Kraków at the weekend. Many well-known clubs entered their representative teams. MKS Bobrzanie, representing Bolesławiec, finished 10th, defeating Ruch Chorzów 3–2 and drawing 0–0 with Wisła Kraków.
The matches against Legia Warszawa (a 2–4 defeat after Bobrzanie initially led 2–0), the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship team (a 0–6 defeat) and Lechia Dzierżoniów ended unfortunately for our players. The contest for ninth place against Rozwój Katowice also ended unhappily for our team. Bolesławiec could have won the match, but two goals conceded led to a draw and then a penalty shootout, in which the Katowice side proved better, winning 3–1.
