Among other works, the fire station underwent:

  • repairs to the insulation of the external surfaces of the foundation walls
  • new concrete bands
  • new gutters and downspouts
  • ventilation openings.

Subsequently, repairs were carried out on the rendered façades, along with painting work, renovation of the interior surfaces including plaster repairs, repairs to damaged gypsum-board coverings, installation of stairs, protection of the walls by priming the surfaces, and painting of the interior surfaces. Part of the work, involving the application of two coats of paint to the boards on the tower façade, was carried out by firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Department in Gościszów.

In addition, the fire station was connected to the sewage network, making it possible to build sanitary facilities inside the station.

The costs associated with carrying out the renovation were fully covered by the budget of the Nowogrodziec Gmina.
