The author of the winning work, Maja Małkowska, created a ceramic painting for the competition depicting a subdued-color interior with an old wardrobe and a mannequin against a decorative wall. The painting was made from glazed stoneware clay.
The jury of the “Encounter with Still Life” art competition assessed 1,229 works in five age categories, taking into account the following criteria: adherence to the theme, individual interpretation of the theme, artistic value, composition, technical skill and proficiency in using selected techniques. The competition included 21 individually submitted works, as well as works by children, young people and adults from 167 educational, childcare and care institutions.
